At Bergonia Photography, we’ve had the amazing pleasure of taking the photos, both in Chicago and Guatemala, for the new online accessories company WORKSHOP/CoOp.
Recently featured in the March 2012 issue of “O” Magazine, WORKSHOP features fabulous artisan made bags, hand loomed by a women’s cooperative in Guatemala. These women are not only paid a fair wage for their work, allowing them to feed their families, educate their children, and change their communities, but each bag purchased also provides a gift though the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees) to a refugee woman or girl in need. Think of it as shopping without guilt.
