You’ve probably noticed we’ve started to dabble in video… so, of course, our first stop was to shoot with our good friend Stephanie Izard at The Girl & The Goat. We happened to show up at the restaurant just as Fox News was knocking on the door to talk to Steph about her nomination for the James Beard Awards!
Once they wrapped up, we headed straight for the kitchen to shoot this fantastic chef in action. She was making her famous Sautéed Cauliflower, revealing some of the secrets behind the dish and chatting about her dog, Dr. Pepper. Her goal—which you’ll hear about in the video—is certainly no small one. She’d like to make vegetables more friendly/appealing to children (and immature eaters alike!). Good. Luck. But, if anyone can do it, I’d put my money on the Goat.
